              Shown on Ordnance Survey second edition. On site of Elswick Colliery (HER 4098). Bought along with the Duke of Gloucester for £20000 in 1929. Changed hands again in 1950 for £23000. It became a Hammond's pub in 1962 and closed in 1976.
