Description:
The garden of remembrance lies north-west of the church and includes lawns, shrubberies and flagged paths. It cost £365, raised by public subscription. The designers were A.K. Tasker and Austin Child, Chartered Architects from Newcastle. After the Rembrance Service, members of the congregation used to place little crosses with poppies in the garden, but this practice was stopped due to vandalism.
