Tyne and Wear HER(11729): Marsden, Man Haven, bomb crater - Details
Marsden, Man Haven, bomb crater
A Second World War bomb crater seen on vertical photographs from 1941. The crater can be seen on a series of photographs soon after impact. It has been grassed over and is now visible as a slight cropmark. The bomb was presumably aimed at the Man Haven radar station (HER 11723).
