A bronze plaque on a brick wall. At the centre top is the Sunderland badge with the names of those killed in a column beneath. "COUNTY BOROUGH OF SUNDERLAND 1939-1945. IN EVERLASTING MEMORY WE RECORD THE NAMES OF THOSE CIVILIANS WHO LOST THEIR LIVES THROUGH ENEMY ACTION ON THIS TOWN AND ARE INTERRED IN THIS CEMETERY.
