Description:
A Second World War firing range is visible as earthworks, structures and cropmarks on air photographs, at NZ 3480 7488. The site is close to the Second World War heavy anti-aircraft battery and aircraft obstructions (UID 1414464 and 1464911). The feature appears to be no longer extant on the latest 1988 Ordnance Survey vertical photography. (1-2). Now a caravan park.
