Tyne and Wear HER(14442): Tynemouth, Hawk - Details
1827 wreck of English paddle steamer which was believed to have foundered off Tynemouth after breaking from her moorings at Shields. An alternative, and conflicting, version indicates that she may have been recovered off the Farne Islands. She would have been constructed of wood.
