South Shields, Herd Sand, Drie Damer (Tre Damer, Ives Damer)
1834 wreck of Danish cargo vessel which stranded on the Herd Sand on her arrival at Newcastle-upon-Tyne from Kingston-upon-Hull. Laden with earthenware and coal tar, she was a wooden sailing vessel. Crew saved.
