1825 wreck of English brig which eventually stranded on the Herd Sand, having a few weeks previously grounded on the Sparrowhawk and foundered off Cullercoats while attempting to run for Shields during a gale with sleet. En route from Sunderland to London with coal, she was a wooden sailing vessel. Master: Ingo
