Tyne and Wear HER(14850): Herrington Burn - Details
Shown on the 1848 tithe plan and subsequent plans. Farm and industrial buildings. Whelan (1856) describes the Herrington Burn as a hamlet in the township of West Herrington containing two flour mills. Nathanial Edwards is listed as a corn miller.
