Forms an L shape with the adjoining Devonshire House. Stepped up above its neighbour. The front elevation is dominated by the projecting gable. It is the largest house on the estate. The side elevation has a central gable and looks similar to the front elevation of Northumberland House and Fircroft. Subject to recent alterations and loss of original features. Plans for the original houses were submitted in 1910 by F. Temporley, Clerk of Works to the Duke of Northumberland. Birch and beech trees in the front garden.
