January 1792 wreck of British craft which capsized, possibly following collision, and stranded near the North Pier at Sunderland on her arrival; a wooden sailing vessel. Master: Blench. `Newcastle, January 21, 1792...Sunday night, in a gale from the southward, and a strong fresh running out of the Wear, out of 50 ships attempting to enter the harbour, 13 run on shore within the North Pier...The SUCCESS, Capt.
