Shown on Ordnance Survey third edition of 1919. Built between 1890 and 1919. Presumably a former school building (HER 15224), maybe the head teacher's house? Sandstone rubble with a slate roof and short chimney stack. Ashlar quoins, heads and cills. L-shaped plan form. Prominent gable faces onto Main Street. Original sash windows. A bay window has been added to the south elevation and an extension to the rear. Due for demolition in 2012.
