Tyne and Wear HER(15353): Walbottle Moor Waggonway - Details
Walbottle Moor Waggonway
A short waggonway running north from Cut End to an unnamed coal pit. Warn shows it as Walbottle Moor Pit but this is not certainly so. Gibson’s 1787 plan of the routes which names Walbottle Moor suggests a different location for the pit.
