Description:
Football ground. There is a blue plaque to Bobby Gurney (1907-1994) next to the gate to the pitch on Byers Court. Gurney played for Silksworth Boys in the Sunderland and District Schools League. He played for Sunderland A.F.C. from 1925-1939.
