Shown as a Wesleyan Chapel on the 1st edition OS map but simply as ‘nonconformist’ chapel on the 1890s 10ft:1 mile town plan. A substantial building which seated 500, the building survived until the 1950s. Brick, two storeys. Round-arched windows on ground floor, rectangular windows on first floor.
