The Grove, old stone wall

This site was nominated for the Newcastle local list in 2022. The description reads:
'Believed to be from the mid 19th century, most unusual. 3.5 meters tall, built of stone and buttressed on the North side and built of bricks on the South Side. Was part of the boundary wall of Jesmond Cottage, believed to have been adapted as a south facing walled garden - the bricks would have been better able to "catch the sun".'
