Hollin Hill farm

Hollin Hill is shown on the Ordnance Survey first edition map of 1862 as a group of three separate buildings, one in an enclosure, arranged around what may be a garden, south of the road from Winlaton Mill to Rowlands Gill and Lintzford. The arrangement of the buildings became more formalised in the later 19th century, forming a courtyard with entrances to the west and east.
