Grindon, Neolithic/Bronze Age flints

Barbed and Tanged Arrowhead
Two flint barbed and tanged arrowheads were found in the sand quarry at Grindon, one in 1947. The surviving one is of grey flint, 22 mm long, 23 mm wide, and 2 mm thick.
