Ryton (Clara Vale), polished axe
Tools and Equipment
In addition to the flints from his Site 14A, south of Clara Vale, Cocks recovered what he interpreted as a part of a polished axe: "light grey flint irregularly broken fragment of polished celt, retaining about 0.5" of cutting edge".
