          Description
This farmstead is shown as 'Lizards' on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map of 1862. Three ranges of buildings surround a courtyard opening onto the road to the west, with a possible gingang on the north side of the north range. A small garden is shown to the south of the south range. To the north another two ranges are arranged in an L-shape with enclosed yards to the south.
Later maps show the courtyard has been closed to the road and opened to the east instead, and another two buildings added. During the 20th century the southern part of the farm became North Lizard Riding School, and the northern part North Lizard Cottages.
Not to be confused with the present Lizards Farm (HER 6831) which lies nearly a kilometre to the south.
