Structure


Oven. Possibly seventeenth century. Large sandstone rubble with quoins. One storey. Square. Low entrance in west elevation has tudor-arched head. Left return has square opening with wood lintel. Rear has high small square opening. Interior - round with stone domed roof; one metre deep entrance passage has flue-like recess at right. Blocked opening at rear with fluted cast iron pipe in stone surround. Tall wall attached. Listed for group value with The Garth. LISTED GRADE 2
