Description:
Fieldwalking in 2005 retrieved a scatter of prehistoric flint tools (Neolithic and Bronze Age) including scrapers, flakes, cores and waste material. Geophysical survey of this field in 2004 had noted a "sinuous linear anomaly" and a possible line of pits ending in a semi-circular feature and two possible hut circles. Evaluation trenching recommended. A single sherd of medieval pottery (sandy white fabric with a dull light grey slip on the exterior. Probably part of a closed vessel such as a flagon).
