Description:
Circa 1905. On the east wall of the train shed immediately to the north of the public entrance is a glazed tile wall showing the former North Eastern Railway company rail network. It indicates items of historic interest on the routes and has inset plans of the docks at Hull, Hartlepool, Middlesborough and Tyne and Northumberland Docks. It consists of 64 tiles framed by a moulded border of gold coloured tiles. It is signed by the makers: Produced by Craven, Dunnhill & Co, Jackfield. LISTED GRADE 2
