1898. J W Donald Architect. Good example of late Victorian "pub". Brick with stone dressings, slate gabled roofs. Three bays and 2 storeys and attics. Transom and mullion windows, elaborate gables. Splendid frosted glass globe and wrought iron scrolled bracket. The only example remaining in-situ. Good wrought iron railings to the small areas in front of the building. LISTED GRADE 2
