Description
This well was found during archaeological investigations in 2022 prior to the redevelopment of the site (report 2024/24). It was constructed from hand-made brick and was approximately 1m wide. In the base of the well part of a wooden pump survived, 1.76m long with a 0.18m diameter. The exact location of the well is not yet known as further reports on the work are awaited.
