          Description
Established in the 1950s on open land known as Church Fields. Named after a local councillor. It has an attractive formal air with neat flower beds, planters, ornamental tree planting, undulating grass (remnants of ridge and furrow earthworks) and meandering tarmac footpaths. A children's play area, bowling green, tennis court, timber and cast iron benches. The west boundary is a dry stone wall and green railings. The south and east boundaries are a mix of fencing, railings and mature trees.
