Description
The West Cramlington Wagonway enters/leaves the County at NZ 2913 7374. It is shown on the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey Map as Backworth Colliery Railway(West Cramlington Branch, serving the Backworth Collieries.It joins the Backworth Wagonway at NZ 3045 7164. It opened in 1838 but closed in 1849 when the West Cramlington was linked to the Newcastle & Berwick Railway.
