          Description
A 1782 directory lists Clapham & King as brewers in Javal Group. By the late 1780s this had become Clapham & Co. or Anthony Clapham & Co. Baillie's directory of 1801 lists 'the brewery of Messrs Clapham & Co. in the Close', at which time it is described as 'well-accustomed'. However it disappeared around 1805.
