Description
This electricity substation was built between 1913 and 1927, as evidenced by maps and aerial photographs. It is a single storey brick and concrete building with a large central metal double door to the front and recently infilled window openings on the west side. It was constructed adjacent to a stone wall to the east which may have been an early yard wall, and utilised the base of a former 18th century wall in its eastern wall.
