Victorian semis but not a matching pair. No. 13 is stepped above No. 15 with a front gable dormer over a wide bedroom window. No. 15 has two smaller gable dormers over the front bedroom windows which have two vertical lights and a central stone mullion. A lean-to extension is continuous along the front and side elevations and encompasses a car port. The windows have been changed. Plans for the original houses were submitted in 1910 by F. Victorian semis. The roof is asymmetrical, Dutch gabled to the rear and partially hipped to the front with two gabled dormer bedroom windows. From the road the ground floor elevation is obscured by a later extension with mono-pitched roof and the high hedge. There are flat roofed garages on the side elevations. The windows have been replaced with timber curved head side-hung casements and top-hung casements. Plans for the original houses were submitted in 1910 by F. Simple Victorian semis. They retain their rectangular plan form, hipped roof and front room slated bay windows. No. 1 has a single storey side extension, No. 3 a two-storey extension. Both have replacement top-hung casement timber windows, recent six-panelled front doors. The cills, lintels and bays are painted white. Paired semis. Much simpler in design than the Arts and Crafts influenced houses. This pair is similar to the typical terraced houses of the period (such as at Blucher and Walbottle). They have slate pitched roofs with a central ridge line. They are simply brick clad. They had sash windows with central vertical glazing bars. Much altered. Plans for the original houses were submitted in 1910 by F. Temporley, Clerk of Works to the Duke of Northumberland.

Forms an L shape with the adjoining Devonshire House. Stepped up above its neighbour. The front elevation is dominated by the projecting gable. It is the largest house on the estate. The side elevation has a central gable and looks similar to the front elevation of Northumberland House and Fircroft. Subject to recent alterations and loss of original features. Rectangular in plan with a central pitch roof running parallel to the front elevation. Forms an L shape with the adjoining The Croft. Subject to recent alterations and loss of original features. Shares a central gable with Northumberland House. Representative of the dominant design within this planned estate (10 houses). Could loosely be termed as Arts and Crafts style in character. Similar to the paired semis 14-16 and 22-24. Has an asymmetrical front elevation and offset, and angular projecting bay windows at ground floor level. It is unique in its use of brick soldier courses above the upper floor and one ground floor window. Unlike other houses in Northumberland Gardens both front doors are linked with their bay windows by a projecting canopy roof. The original multi-pane windows survive.
